If your Moss Amigo is damaged, separating, or appears defective, please submit the form below so our team can review it directly.

If you purchased your Moss Amigo from one of our retail partners, you do not need to ask the store to diagnose the issue. Moss Amigos can review the product condition and, when appropriate, arrange a replacement directly with you.

Before submitting your claim

Please do not peel, cut, pull apart, or further dismantle your Moss Amigo.

Moss Amigos are certified living epilithic marimo cultivated around a patented kernel to prevent the proliferation of invasive species. Pulling, peeling, cutting, or dismantling the living outer layer can permanently damage the product and is not considered normal care.

Take clear photos of the product in its current condition and keep the product and any separated pieces while your claim is being reviewed.

Product tampering and damaged products

Damage caused by intentionally pulling, peeling, cutting, dismantling, or otherwise destructively inspecting the product is not considered a manufacturing defect under our standard warranty.

If you handled or inspected the product before noticing the damage, please tell us exactly what happened. Honest disclosure does not automatically prevent us from helping you. It simply allows our team to determine the appropriate resolution.

By submitting a Damaged Product Claim, you certify that the information and photographs you provide are truthful and complete to the best of your knowledge, including whether the product was pulled, peeled, cut, opened, dismantled, or otherwise handled in a way that may have caused or contributed to the damage.

Moss Amigos relies on this information when determining whether a refund, replacement, credit, or other remedy is appropriate. Knowingly providing materially false or misleading information, concealing relevant handling or damage, or submitting misleading evidence in order to obtain a benefit to which you are not entitled may constitute fraud under applicable law.

Moss Amigos reserves the right to deny fraudulent claims, recover benefits obtained through fraud where permitted by law, and pursue other remedies available under applicable law.
